Broadcast Power host changed

Ever since the decision to move bp2x.com to a new host came up, I have been looking for a suitable home. Two weeks ago, I landed on WEB24's home page and was impressed with its offer, especially when considering it is an Australian hosting company. Being a Melbournian, I also mused paying slightly higher fees for a host closer to home.
After a bit of to and fro, testing and appraisal, I decided to go with WEB24, and here's a quick list of the why's:
1. Extremely fast network
Where I used to get 70 to 80 KB/sec from the US shared hosting, I was able to get around 350 - 400 KB/sec from WEB24. That's surely something that entices me to move hosts. My primary objective of getting faster speeds of transfer and quicker response times from the host was to facilitate content creation with the limited time I have out of business hours. Besides, the community deserves more content!
2. Fast servers
Over the past two weeks of testing, I have not had to login or browse my site and find it slow to respond. That's another tick for WEB24.
3. Competative hosting pricing
WEB24 is one of the most competatively priced hosts around in Australia for similarly featured plans. You might find cheaper hosting, but all round service suffers.
4. WEB24 is sponsoring bp2x
The good guys at WEB24 are sponsoring bp2x.com and hoohee.com by offering free hosting. This leaves me with $312 a year which I used to pay for hosting in the USA for promoting bp2x.com.

Leave us a comment on how you are finding the new host.

If you like it, you can help too by promoting bp2x.com and WEB24.
