I was following the help file setting up the program just trying to get a feel for it. I really do love the way its setup. But I am having issues, It let me create a grid the first time. Then I got to schedule tried to setup some rules and it wouldn't let me save the rule. When I clicked New or exited it asked if I wanted to save, I clicked yes and nothing happened. So I thought ok maybe if I back out, I deleted my schedules and grid. Closed program and restarted PC. Came back and tried creating a grid once more, I get a popup window that says ... Confirm Changes ctlGrids Do you want to save your changes? ... with the details I have set on the screen. Yes / No

If I click Yes, nothing happens. If I click NO it clears the Name Field.

at a loss as how to proceed, I can't go on without a grid....

Creating programs with rules

The latest version of BP2X 2.5.6.10 currently has a simplified scheduler implemented which will facilitate the creation of programs.

In your current version, you can only assign rules at the program level.
1. Select the Station Feed from the tree then click on the Grids tab
2. Create a Grid (New-> Enter data -> Save)
3. Select the grid you want to edit
4. Click on Schedules tab
5. Create a schedule (double click on calendar)
6. Click on Programs tab
7. Create a program (double click on calendar)
8. Right click on program and select ("Set Program Rules")
9. To add a new rule click on the "Add button", then click on the button next to drop down combo box
10. Create rule (New -> Enter data -> Save)
11. Double click on new rule to set its criteria (no need to set any criteria if you want random song selection)
12. Repeat 10 and 11 to create multiple rules
13. Press F5 on rules list to refresh
14. Drag and drop rules to assign to program

You have to create rules once and then you can reuse them for programs.

Let me know how it goes.
