Hi from Oz,
I am new to this game and I have just got myself a new PC.
Our station is about to durn all of our CD's to this PC and we are seeking a Automation software program that is easy to download and easy to operate and run.
I have been trying another program with this 'my SQL' and it dosent seem to like what I am wanting to do.
When I download this bp2x automation software,what else do I have to download to make it run,and also do I need shoutcast/winamp or what elese to make it operate properly.
Canm I please get some straight answers before I download the software and make a fool of myself.

You need the following:
1. Computer with Windows 32 bit and a sound card
2. Plenty of disk space to store your audio files
3. Microsoft .NET 2.0 for your operating system version
4. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 for your operating system version
5. If you're streaming online, a shoutcast server
6. BP2X
7. Internet access
You definitely need to have knowledge in configuring MSSQL server, Windows firewall, Windows file security settings (for Windows Vista, 7, 2003 or 2008)

Maybe that is the thing to do in the next version. Make it so called idiot proof. I mean make the program so it can install itself automatic with all the parts it need to work correctly. And make it so that one does not need to know something of sql, firewalls and so to make it work. I'm sure it will make the program the number one if it works 'out of the box' as we call it.
